About me
Forty years of experience in digital cartography and GIS (Geographic Information Systems). PhD in Geography from UC Santa Barbara. Nearly 10 years of experience as a university professor, with teaching and research interests in cartography and GIS. Nearly 10 years of experience directing GIS data development and cartographic production for a large commercial map publisher. Appointed Wisconsin State Cartographer in 2009, with responsibilities for information dissemination, education and coordination of geospatial activities across the state.
